On December 15, 2023, the Intellectual Property Training Event for Guangzhou pharmaceuticals jointly organized by Foundin IP was successfully held in Guangzhou.

 

 

The event, co-hosted by several key industry associations including the Guangzhou Biotech Industry Organization, Guangzhou Huangpu District Professional Technology and Vocational Ability Development Center, Guangzhou Biomedical Industry Talent Federation, Guangzhou Huangpu District Biomedical Talent Association, and the "Guangzhou Science and Technology Innovation Home" of the Jiusan Society, attracted enthusiastic participation from representatives of over 100 enterprises.

 

 

Focusing on the theme of "Intellectual Property Driving Technological Innovation," the event aimed to address questions about the utilization and commercialization of IP rights in enterprises, as well as provide advice on policy making regarding IP protection to relevant organizations of Huangpu District. Notable attendees included Managing Partner Mr. Hui Wang and Patent Agent Mr. Dongying Song from Foundin IP, Kevin Kyeongkyo Kim, Managing Partner from KYOYEON IP Law Firm in South Korea, who delivered a distinguished lecture, sharing insights into the practical aspects of medical-use inventions in South Korea, and Kathy Wang, Patent Attorney from Marks & Clerk in Singapore, who conducted an online thematic training lecture on "Pharmaceutical Patents in Southeast Asian Countries: Opportunities and Challenges."

 

 

The training and sharing sessions attracted interest of participating companies, stimulating interactions, and the training time has to be extended due to numerous inquiries raised by the representatives.
